MULTIPLIER EVENTS

The first multiplier event of IMPLEMENT Project was held on Project partners AeV and ENAMA on November 9, 2018 at EIMA 2018International Agricultural Fest in Bologna/Italy with 78 participants. Project materials and results were presented to plant protection users and farmers. The second multiplier event of IMPLEMENT project was held on February 6, 2019 in Ankara University, Faculty of Agriculture Conference Hall. A total of 127 people from,  Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Ministry of  Family, Labour and Social Services representatives from different departments, Agriculture Machinery and Equipment Test Centre Directorate (TAMTEST), Turkey Chambers of Agriculture Union (TZOB), Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers Association (TARMAKBIR), Agricultural Engineers Association (ZMO and TYZMO),  including representatives of civil society and private sector organizations, individual farmers and academicians and students of agricultural faculty attended the event. The e-learning platform, available to all farmers and interested parties regarding the ImMPLEMENT Project, is available at implement.farm

IMPLEMENT project, IMPLEMENT course and e-learning platform are presented in the project. In the agricultural sector, the importance of the use of plant protection machines and pesticides in terms of human, environment and food safety has been emphasized. Representatives of the two Italian partner organizations of the project also spoke about the project. Within the scope of the event; Prof. Dr. Zeynep Şimşek gave a conference about “Pesticide Applications in terms of Health and Safety of Agricultural Workers” and Agricultural Engineer Tanfer Dinler about “A Different Perspective on Agriculture, Human, Environment and Plant Protection”.

PILOT TRAININGS

The pilot trainings for using IMPLEMENT course and e-learning platform were held on 4 April 2019 with 24 participants consisting of farmers and students at DOKAP Informatics Center, Faculty of Agriculture, Ondokuz Mayıs University.

It was stated by the participants that the course tutoriol in the e-learning platform is effective and sufficient, and that the information in the course is understandable and learnable. At the end of the pilot training application, trainees who successfully completed the IMPLEMENT course were given certificates by the project team in a mini ceremony. The trainees who participated in the training were volunteer identification representatives of the project.

CLOOSING MEETING

4. Transnational Meeting of the IMPLEMENT project is also the closing meeting of the project on February 7, 2019 at the Agricultural Faculty Senate Meeting Hall Ankara University, a project partner hosted by Ankara University was held in Ankara-Turkey.

In this meeting, IMPLEMENT course and prepared e-learning platform were reviewed by the project partners and the design details were examined online. IMPLEMENT için Course Tutorial, which was prepared to explain the use of e-learning platform, was exchanged. The project has been completed with interviews that include studies on the closing meeting, pilot training planning, publication activities and final report preparation.

The meeting was successfully terminated with the wish and the idea that the project partnership will continue in the future.
